Unfortunately the peoplefund.it website was suffering a little glitch this morning that meant that when people tried to pledge they were greeted with a 404 page, this has now been fixed by peoplefund.it. So you can start pledging again!

We crossed two more milestones yesterday, 100 pledgers and 80% – that’s pretty good going for day 2!

Thanks again for all your support, it’s been incredible.

Now as some of you will have noticed – once all of the course places have been sold (there’s only a couple left) we will still be short of our £40,000 target, so we will be relying upon a healthy number of the smaller pledges (or perhaps one or two of the top pledges) to reach the target.

We are looking to make a few additional places available, but can’t create enough to satisfy the demand or push us over the line. So, please help us to spread the message and let people know that they can support the project (even if they can’t directly participate in a course) with pledges from just £20.

In return they’ll receive a lovely T shirt that’s completely unique to backers of the project along with other similarly wonderful and unique goodies at the other pledge amounts. They’ll make great Christmas presents too!

We’ve made a great start thanks entirely to your support, now we need to make sure that we keep the funding going until we cross the magic £40,000 finish line.

The payment system on the peoplefund.it website suffered some downtime this morning due to a technical fault but after a short outage we’re pleased to say it’s now back on line.

I can’t thank you all enough, these past 24 hours have been incredible!

Both Brian and I have been overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm that you’ve all shown. Thanks to you we’re 38% away from The Bicyle academy becoming a reality in just one day. That’s massive, its an incredible level of support and it means everything to us.

To put this into perspective; the combined total raised by the other 11 projects so far is £2,200, and The Bicycle Academy alone has raised £24,850!

I’ll do my very best to answer all messages and calls and keep you all updated as things progress, I promise.

Please keep spreading the message and telling people about our crowd funding, remember that until we reach 100% we’re not safe, only if we reach 100% do we get to benefit from all the wonderful pledges. It really is all or nothing.
